Job Description
PPRT Social Science Teacher Position at Naba Prabha Shishu Angan in Malda
Teaching Social Science at Naba Prabha Shishu Angan involves designing engaging lessons that align with the curriculum for Class 6 to 8 students. Your role will include planning daily and weekly lesson plans covering history, geography, political science, and economics with a focus on local and regional context. You will deliver interactive and age-appropriate lessons, ensuring students grasp key concepts through discussions, projects, and practical examples.
Assisting in the development of supplementary study materials and resources for Social Science subjects is part of your responsibilities. You will also monitor student progress, provide feedback, and address any learning gaps through one-on-one interactions or small group sessions. Regular classroom observations and parent-teacher meetings will help maintain a supportive learning environment.
A graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is required for this position. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage.
