TGT History Teacher Position at Gayeshbari Bright Institute in Malda
Gayeshbari Bright Institute in Malda seeks a dedicated TGT History Teacher to join their team and inspire students with engaging history lessons. This role involves shaping young minds through a curriculum rooted in regional and global historical narratives, fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness. The teacher will prepare and deliver daily history classes, covering topics from ancient civilizations to modern events, ensuring alignment with school syllabi. They will design engaging lesson plans, use interactive teaching methods, and maintain a structured classroom environment. Assisting in extracurricular history-related activities, such as debates, model competitions, and field trips, will also be part of the responsibilities. Regularly assessing student progress through assessments, quizzes, and projects will help identify strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate history with other subjects will strengthen interdisciplinary learning. Maintaining discipline, encouraging respectful dialogue, and addressing student queries with patience will be key to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Ensuring compliance with curriculum guidelines and updating teaching materials as needed will keep lessons relevant and effective.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in History or a related subject. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience, in Malda, West Bengal.
