Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans based on the latest syllabus and student performance trends. Collaborate with the Mathematics department to refine teaching strategies and share best practices. Participate in school-wide academic discussions to improve overall Mathematics education standards. Assist in organizing and grading weekly/quarterly assignments and exams.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend termly faculty meetings to discuss teaching methodologies and curriculum improvements. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and areas needing support. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding curriculum implementation and student welfare.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics. Four years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the secondary level is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for better career prospects. A strong command of both Hindi and English is essential for effective classroom communication.
