Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct age-appropriate physical education classes, including games, sports, and fitness activities. Ensure compliance with school safety protocols and adapt lessons to accommodate students with varying abilities. Collaborate with the school management to organize inter-house sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
Mandatory Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or related field. A valid teaching certificate such as TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience Requirements
Prove at least four years of teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in schools with a focus on sports and fitness. Experience in curriculum development for PE and training students in team sports, individual disciplines, or adaptive physical education is highly valued.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is based in Malda, West Bengal, and is a full-time commitment.
