Role Overview
Anamika Model School in Murshidabad, West Bengal is hiring a full‑time PGT Business Studies Teacher. The candidate will deliver Business Studies to senior secondary classes, prepare students for board examinations and foster a practical understanding of commerce concepts.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with the West Bengal Board curriculum.
Create and evaluate lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments that develop analytical and decision‑making skills.
Guide students in project work, case studies and entrepreneurship activities to apply theoretical knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and progress reports, and communicate regularly with parents.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events and continuous professional development programs.
Assist in co‑curricular activities such as business clubs, fairs and inter‑school competitions.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce or related discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Salary, Location & Application
Salary: Rs.37,000 – Rs.65,000 per month.
Location: Murshidabad, West Bengal.
