As a senior Mathematics educator, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to Class XI and XII students, preparing them for the board exams, and contributing to the development of the subject curriculum at the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Class XI and XII students, adhering to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and assignments to ensure students meet the curriculum requirements.
- Coach students for board exams, providing individualized attention and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and make learning Mathematics enjoyable.
- Collaborate with other Mathematics teachers to create a cohesive curriculum and share best practices.
- Evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics-related projects and initiatives at the school.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other relevant data.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Postgraduate degree (M.Sc, M.A, M.Com) in Mathematics or a related field. Additionally, you should have a B.Ed degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to Class XI and XII students.
