Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the West Bengal Board curriculum. Design practical sessions that cover fundamentals of programming, digital concepts, networking basics and internet safety, ensuring that students develop both theoretical knowledge and hands‑on skills.
Create and update lesson plans, teaching aids and multimedia resources that cater to diverse learning styles. Incorporate project‑based learning, coding challenges and collaborative activities to stimulate curiosity and problem‑solving abilities among students.
Conduct regular assessments, quizzes and practical exams to evaluate student progress. Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and performance trends, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with senior faculty and the head of department to align Computer Science teaching with overall school academic goals. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews and school development programmes.
Organise co‑curricular activities such as coding clubs, computer fairs and inter‑school competitions to promote a culture of technology enthusiasm beyond the classroom.
