Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare and deliver daily Science lessons aligned with the West Bengal Board curriculum for classes VI to X. Use simple language and local examples to explain concepts like photosynthesis, chemical reactions and Newton’s laws. Keep lessons interactive with charts, models and small experiments using low-cost materials.
Plan weekly practical sessions where students perform experiments in small groups, recording observations in lab notebooks. Ensure safety while handling glassware, chemicals and electrical circuits. Guide students in writing clear lab reports with diagrams and conclusions.
Assess students regularly through short quizzes, unit tests and term-end examinations. Provide written feedback highlighting strengths and areas for improvement, focusing on conceptual clarity rather than rote learning.
Organize monthly Science exhibitions or quiz competitions at Aurangabad Public School to showcase student projects. Encourage students to prepare working models or posters on topics like water conservation or renewable energy.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-subject activities, such as math puzzles involving measurement or English essays on famous scientists. Share resources and teaching strategies in weekly department meetings.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks and teaching plans as required by school policy. Submit reports to the head of department on time for review.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in Science with at least two years of teaching experience in a secondary school.
