PRT Mathematics Teacher Job in Nadia, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Role
Full‑time PRT Mathematics Teacher for Suba Public School, responsible for delivering the NCERT mathematics curriculum to classes VI‑VIII in Chapra, Nadia. Conduct lesson plans, classroom assessments and remedial sessions as needed.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute engaging mathematics lessons aligned with state board standards, using chalk‑board, digital tools and local examples. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, quizzes and homework, providing feedback to students and parents. Maintain attendance registers, lesson logs and collaborate with senior teachers for interdisciplinary projects. Organise maths clubs or competitions to foster interest among learners. Ensure classroom discipline and a supportive learning environment.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. TET/CTET qualification preferred. Must possess a valid teaching licence as per West Bengal regulations.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling middle‑school mathematics. Prior experience in a rural or semi‑urban school like Suba Public School will be advantageous.
Salary
Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
