TGT History Teacher Job in Nadia, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Narayana School Ranaghat invites applications for a TGT History Teacher Vacancy in Nadia. The position is a full-time role for teaching History to middle and secondary sections. Candidates should have a strong foundation in Indian and world history along with classroom management skills.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver History lessons aligned with NCERT curriculum for Classes 6 to 10.
Prepare daily lesson plans and maintain subject-specific teaching aids.
Assess student progress through regular tests and provide remedial support.
Organize History-related activities such as quizzes, debates, and projects.
Collaborate with the department to share resources and best practices.
Maintain accurate attendance and academic records as per school policy.
Communicate student progress to parents during PTMs and through reports.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in History with minimum 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
Good to Have
TET/CTET certification.
Experience teaching in ICSE or CBSE affiliated schools.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
Preferred Skills
Strong command over English and Bengali for effective communication.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans using local historical examples.
Experience with student-centered learning and activity-based teaching.
Familiarity with Narayana Group teaching methodologies is an advantage.
Perks and Pay
Monthly salary in the range of Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF, ESI, and annual performance-based increments. Free meals during school hours and access to in-house professional development resources.
