About This Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced TGT Physics teacher to join Narayana School Kalyani, a renowned institution in West Bengal, to teach Physics to students from classes VI to XII. As a TGT Physics teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for students, promoting a love for Physics, and helping them develop a strong foundation in the subject.

Pedagogy and Tools

In the Physics teaching department at Narayana School Kalyani, we emphasize hands-on learning, laboratory experiments, and activity-based teaching methods. Our Physics teachers use a range of resources, including textbooks, digital tools, and educational apps, to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. You will be expected to design and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver lessons on Physics to students from classes VI to XII, using a range of teaching methods and resources.
2. Conduct laboratory experiments and activities to demonstrate key Physics concepts and principles.
3. Assess student progress and understanding through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments.
4. Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievement.
6. Engage with parents and guardians to provide feedback on student performance.
7. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in Physics teaching.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school projects and initiatives in Physics.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A Master's degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- A strong academic record, with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
- At least 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a focus on Physics.
- Familiarity with TET/CTET exam requirements is preferred.
