Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to students from Class VI to X, following the curriculum set by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and activities to promote student learning and participation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students to ask questions and explore their curiosity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects, emphasizing community service and social responsibility.
- Communicate regularly with parents through parent-teacher meetings, phone calls, and email updates, ensuring their involvement in their child's education.
- Participate in school events, such as science fairs, quizzes, and competitions, showcasing students' skills and achievements.
- Utilize local resources, such as the nearby Science Park, to enrich the Physics curriculum and promote hands-on learning.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Physics education, incorporating new ideas and approaches into the classroom.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent qualification for teaching.
- TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, but preferred.
