Role Summary
Narayana School, Andal is looking for a Dance Teacher to lead the performing arts department at our Ondal campus. The role involves managing dance programs, coordinating events, and maintaining discipline among students. This is a full-time position for candidates with three years of relevant experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and conduct daily dance practice sessions for students aged 6 to 16.
2. Organize and supervise rehearsals for school events, competitions, and annual functions.
3. Prepare students for inter-school and district-level dance competitions in Paschim Bardhaman.
4. Maintain attendance records and performance reports for each student.
5. Coordinate with the music and art departments to integrate dance into broader cultural programs.
6. Ensure the dance studio and props are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
7. Assist in the selection and purchase of dance costumes and equipment within budget.
8. Collaborate with the school administration to promote cultural activities and student participation.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must be graduates with at least three years of experience in dance instruction or choreography. Proficiency in basic computer skills is required for record-keeping and communication. Formal teaching qualifications like B.Ed or D.El.Ed are preferred but not mandatory.
