Drummer Job in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal | School Vacancy
Role Summary
Narayana School, Andal invites applications for the position of Drummer. This is a full-time administrative leadership role responsible for managing cultural events, coordinating school functions, and supporting institutional activities in Ondal and surrounding areas of Paschim Bardhaman. The role involves leading a small team, organizing performances, and ensuring seamless execution of school programs including annual days, sports meets, and cultural festivals.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with the school administration to plan and schedule all cultural events throughout the academic year. Ensure alignment with academic calendars and local cultural themes relevant to Paschim Bardhaman.
Lead a team of supporting staff including sound technicians, lighting operators, and junior drummers. Conduct regular team meetings to assign tasks and monitor progress.
Manage procurement, maintenance, and storage of musical instruments and equipment used during events. Prepare inventory reports and submit to the administration for approval.
Oversee sound and rhythm arrangements during school assemblies, competitions, and public programs. Ensure high-quality audio output and adherence to performance timelines.
Represent Narayana School, Andal at local cultural programs and inter-school events in Ondal and Paschim Bardhaman. Build rapport with community leaders and cultural organizations.
Train and mentor junior drummers in traditional and contemporary rhythmic patterns. Conduct periodic skill assessments and recommend improvements.
Prepare event budgets in consultation with the finance team. Track expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources for cultural activities.
Ensure safety and discipline among team members during rehearsals and performances. Report any misconduct or equipment issues to the school administration promptly.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Minimum three years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated leadership in event management or cultural coordination.
Prior experience in school or institutional settings within West Bengal is preferred. Knowledge of local cultural practices in Paschim Bardhaman will be an added advantage.
