Core responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons to classes 9–12, using visual aids and laboratory work.
2. Design and conduct practicals that reinforce theoretical concepts and develop laboratory skills.
3. Prepare and evaluate continuous assessment and board exam papers, ensuring fair grading.
4. Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
5. Conduct regular parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student growth and address concerns.
6. Organise and supervise school‑wide science fairs, encouraging student participation.
7. Update students on latest research and developments in Botany, integrating contemporary topics.
8. Participate in curriculum review committees and contribute to school policy formulation.
9. Ensure compliance with safety protocols in all laboratory and field activities.
What you bring to the table
Post‑graduate degree in Botany or related field, B.Ed/D.El.Ed mandatory, TET/CTET preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level. Demonstrated ability to design curriculum, manage classrooms, and inspire students. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development.
