About This Role
Narayana School, Andal invites applications for the position of PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students in grades 9 to 12 at our school in Ondal, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer science education to students. As a key member of our faculty, you will be expected to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons to students in grades 9 to 12.
2. Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles.
3. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
4. Prepare and administer quizzes, exams, and other assessments.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
7. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
8. Supervise students during computer labs and online learning sessions.
9. Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in computer science education.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- 3 years of teaching experience at a school in West Bengal.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
Good to Have:
- Experience teaching computer science to students in grades 9 to 12.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
