About This Role
This History Teacher position at Narayana School, Andal, located in Ondal, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, is now accepting applications. Key Responsibilities
1. Teach History to students of class 11 and 12.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and quizzes.
3. Develop and implement engaging classroom activities.
4. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
5. Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects.
7. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
8. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices.
9. Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
* Postgraduate degree in History or related field (MA/M.Sc.)
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* 3 years of teaching experience in History
* Strong knowledge of History curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have:
* CTET or TET certification
* Experience with project-based learning and technology integration
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
