Coordinate with other teachers to integrate physical activities into the broader academic schedule.
Participate in school events like sports festivals, talent shows, and health awareness campaigns.
Collaborate with the principal and staff to address student behavioral and performance issues related to physical activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct annual fitness assessments and health check-ups for students, providing feedback and recommendations.
Attend training sessions or workshops on sports science, injury prevention, and modern teaching techniques.
Review and evaluate student progress in physical education, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting training plans.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field.
Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education.
A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of sports rules, equipment handling, and first aid is essential.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, along with benefits tailored to the school’s policies. The role is based in Kanska, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, with travel arrangements covered as per school guidelines.
