Core responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate Art And Craft lessons to classes 6‑10.
2. Develop lesson plans that incorporate traditional and contemporary techniques.
3. Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records.
4. Manage classroom materials, ensuring safety and sustainability.
5. Organize workshops for students and parents, promoting lifelong creativity.
6. Collaborate with school leadership on curriculum reviews and enrichment programs.
7. Participate in school events, such as cultural festivals and community outreach.
8. Maintain a visually stimulating learning environment that encourages experimentation.
9. Contribute to the school’s annual report by highlighting artistic achievements.
What you bring to the table
- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse art techniques and student projects.
- Ability to inspire students and foster a collaborative classroom culture.
