Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Kanska, Paschim Bardhaman
Teach Social Science subjects including history, geography, political science, and economics to Class 1 to 8 students. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the West Bengal curriculum. Conduct interactive classroom activities, group discussions, and projects to enhance student understanding.
Prepare and evaluate weekly assignments, tests, and projects to assess student progress. Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance. Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
Plan and organize extra-curricular social science-related events such as debates, model rallies, and cultural programs. Ensure compliance with school policies and adhere to the teaching schedule. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications: Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. Two years of teaching experience in social sciences or related subjects. TET/CTET certification is an advantage. Salary offered is Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000 per month. Full-time position available in Kanska, Paschim Bardhaman.
