Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Science curricula for students from Class VI to Class X
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and inform instruction
- Mentor and support junior teachers in the Science department, providing guidance on lesson planning and delivery
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence
- Analyze and interpret data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Represent the Science department at school-wide events and meetings
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation in Science classes
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Science education and incorporate best practices into teaching
- Contribute to the development of the school's academic vision and strategic plan
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree in Science (B.Ed/D.El.Ed required, TET/CTET preferred) and at least 5 years of teaching experience. You should have a proven track record of academic excellence and a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation. Experience of teaching in a school setting is essential, and you will have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
