- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records.
- Participate in school meetings and curriculum development workshops.
- Mentor junior teachers and support peer‑learning initiatives.
- Coordinate field trips to local historical sites and civic institutions.
- Communicate progress and concerns to parents during parent‑teacher interactions.
Subject‑specific qualifications and expertise
- Post‑graduate degree in History, Geography, Political Science or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong grasp of Indian social studies syllabus and assessment standards.
