Role Summary
We require a dedicated and experienced TGT Social Science Teacher to join Narayana School, Andal in Ondal, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from class 6 to 8.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students.
- Prepare and evaluate student assessments, exams, and projects.
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
- Develop and implement classroom rules and routines.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy classroom.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Fluency in English and Bengali languages.
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET qualification.
- Experience with curriculum planning and implementation.
- Knowledge of child psychology and special needs.
