Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly lesson sequences aligned to the CBSE Computer Science syllabus for classes IX–XII, ensuring coverage of Python, data structures, and networking topics.
Create classroom resources—lab sheets, MCQ banks, and sample programs—so every student can practise, not just memorise.
Conduct daily lab sessions in the well-equipped computer lab with 25 terminals, keeping hardware and software updated alongside the technician.
Run weekend coding clubs where students build mini-projects on Raspberry Pi kits provided by the school.
Assess term-wise through unit tests, practical exams, and viva voce to give parents clear, fair feedback.
Collaborate with the maths and physics departments to show real-world applications of algorithms and logic gates.
Mentor two to three students each year for national Olympiads in Informatics, attending preparatory camps in Kolkata when needed.
Attend monthly subject forums with other Narayana schools across West Bengal to share best practices and new resources.
Eligibility Criteria
Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA with a minimum of 55% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognised institution; prior teaching experience in senior secondary Computer Science of at least three years.
Familiarity with Python 3.x, C++, and basic electronics for lab work is essential.
