About This Role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Biology Teacher to join our faculty as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). As a PGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from Class XI to XII. This role requires a strong knowledge of Biology, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Biology to students from Class XI to XII
- Plan and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Conduct evaluations and exams
- Prepare and grade assignments and quizzes
- Maintain accurate student records
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Supervise and mentor students outside of class hours
- Attend parents' meetings and communicate with parents
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with a degree in Biology (B.Sc.) or a related field
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Biology and curriculum development
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
