What You Will Do
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans for Biology, tailored to meet the needs of students with varying learning levels.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas where students need additional support and develop plans to provide that support.
- Use technology to create interactive and multimedia-rich learning materials for Biology.
- Foster a love for Biology among students by incorporating hands-on activities and experiments into your lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive Biology curriculum.
- Provide individualized attention to students who require extra support, including those with special needs.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices in Biology education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) with a specialization in Biology or a related field. A Post Graduate degree in Science (M.Sc.) will be an added advantage. You must also have a B.Ed degree or a D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
