About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty at Narayana School Contai. As a TGT Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring and guiding students in grades 6-10 in the fascinating world of computer science. Your expertise and enthusiasm will help students develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and creativity.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging computer science lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, including online resources and multimedia tools
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver integrated units of work
- Provide support and guidance to students who require additional help
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in computer science education
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians through regular progress reports and parent-teacher conferences
- Participate in school events and activities to promote computer science education and awareness
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 years of experience in teaching computer science in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and curriculum design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities
