Narayana School Contai seeks a dynamic and experienced TGT Geography Teacher to join our team in Contai I, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. - Prepare and deliver lessons on various Geography topics, including physical and human geography, population studies, and geographic information systems.
- Use a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and hands-on experiments to engage students.
- Develop and implement Geography curricula that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Conduct field trips and excursions to enhance students' understanding of geographical concepts.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop integrated curricula and interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities, such as science fairs and cultural programs.
- Contribute to the development of Geography department resources and materials.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Geography education and pedagogy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geography Education, or a related field with a specialization in Geography.
- Post-graduate degree in Geography, Geography Education, or a related field is preferred.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate is required; TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
