You will teach students across Grades 6 to 10 in an inclusive classroom setting in Purba Medinipur. What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for TGT level, ensuring coverage of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration.
Use differentiated instruction to cater to students at different proficiency levels within the same classroom.
Prepare and review practice worksheets, assignments, and periodic assessments with a focus on conceptual understanding.
Organize remedial sessions for students struggling with specific topics, especially in algebra and geometry.
Incorporate visual aids, models, and real-life problem-solving tasks to make abstract concepts more tangible.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate Mathematics with science and social studies where relevant.
Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records, and progress reports in digital and physical formats.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and Mathematics-related competitions to build student interest.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Mathematics as a teaching subject.
Minimum 4 years of full-time Mathematics teaching experience at secondary level in a school environment.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Fluency in English and Bengali is necessary to communicate effectively with students and parents.
