Parbelia Saraswati English Learning School invites a dedicated NTT Evs Teacher to join their team in Purulia Sadar, Purulia. This role focuses on delivering engaging English language and values education (Evs) through National Teacher Training (NTT) programs, fostering cultural awareness and moral growth in young learners. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching English with a blend of practical experience and a passion for nurturing holistic development in students.
Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive English lessons aligned with NTT guidelines. Daily classroom activities will emphasize speaking, listening, and basic communication skills while incorporating local cultural stories and values. Preparing simple, engaging lesson plans that balance academic rigor with practical application is essential. Conducting daily student interactions to assess understanding and provide immediate feedback in a supportive environment.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve preparing weekly lesson plans that integrate English language learning with moral and cultural values. Organizing small group discussions on topics like respect, honesty, and environmental consciousness. Collaborating with other teachers to ensure consistent teaching standards and curriculum alignment. Attending weekly faculty meetings to discuss lesson strategies and student progress.
Periodic responsibilities include participating in termly evaluation meetings to review student performance and adjust teaching methods as needed. Preparing termly progress reports for students, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Conducting occasional parent-teacher interactions to discuss student development and address concerns.
The NTT Evs Teacher must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in schools. A graduate degree is required, and while TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. Experience in teaching English with an emphasis on values education and cultural integration is preferred.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Purulia Sadar, Purulia, West Bengal.
