Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, with a focus on language development, literature analysis, and cultural sensitivity.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute extracurricular activities, such as debates, quizzes, and cultural events.
- Provide guidance and support to students who require additional help, including those with special needs.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in the field of Bengali language and literature.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and programs that promote language education and cultural awareness.
- Build relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and involve them in the learning process.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Bengali or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on language education.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Bengali at the PGT level.
- Strong knowledge of Bengali language and literature, with a passion for teaching and learning.
