About This Role
Narayana School Raghunathpur seeks an experienced PGT Biology Teacher to take on a senior leadership role within the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and accomplished Biology teacher to join our Raghunathpur campus and lead the Biology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Biology curriculum at the senior secondary level, ensuring alignment with Board regulations and school policies.
- Teach Biology to classes XI and XII, using engaging teaching methods to stimulate student interest and academic achievement.
- Mentor junior Biology teachers, providing guidance and support to help them improve their teaching skills and classroom management.
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted strategies to improve results.
- Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement whole-school curriculum initiatives.
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep them informed about their child's progress in Biology.
- Participate in school committees and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure that student data is up-to-date and secure.
- Participate in staff development programs and activities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Biology education.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a B.Ed degree and at least 5 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school.
