Role
Design and conduct Physical Education lessons covering team sports, individual drills, and health-related activities. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during outdoor and indoor sports sessions. Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to integrate PE into the broader academic framework.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute sports programs that cater to students’ varying skill levels, ensuring inclusivity. Supervise extracurricular sports events, including inter-house competitions and local tournaments. Maintain well-equipped PE facilities and inventory, including equipment like balls, nets, and sportswear.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as mandatory qualification for teaching roles. Possess a graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
Three years of teaching experience in Physical Education or related subjects is essential. Experience in managing student activities, especially in a school setting, is highly valued. Familiarity with local sports culture in West Bengal is a plus.
Compensation
