PGT Computer Science Teacher Position at The Elixir School, Anantnag
The Elixir School in Anantnag East Mattan is seeking a dedicated PGT Computer Science Teacher to join its faculty. This role involves teaching high school students across core Computer Science subjects, including programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies like AI and cybersecurity. You’ll design engaging lesson plans, mentor students through hands-on projects, and ensure a strong foundation in computational thinking.
Your day-to-day work will include delivering lectures, supervising lab sessions, and assessing student performance. The curriculum aligns with Jammu & Kashmir’s syllabus, so familiarity with state-specific frameworks will be helpful. You’ll also collaborate with other teachers to integrate tech education into broader academic goals.
To qualify, hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, experience in teaching Computer Science at the secondary level will be an asset. A minimum of three years of relevant teaching experience is required.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with opportunities to shape the school’s tech-focused learning environment.
