PRT Computer Science Teacher Position
The Elixir School in Anantnag’s East Mattan campus seeks a dedicated PRT Computer Science Teacher to inspire young minds in the field of technology and programming. Qualifications
A graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this position. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not strictly required. Experience in teaching Computer Science to students at the secondary level is highly valued.
Experience
At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a technical subject, is necessary. Familiarity with modern programming languages (like Python, Java, or C++) and educational technology tools is beneficial. Experience adapting lessons for diverse learning abilities is a plus.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver Computer Science lessons, including theory, coding exercises, and practical demonstrations. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment while encouraging curiosity in technology. Work with the school’s IT infrastructure to integrate digital tools into teaching. Participate in curriculum reviews and professional development sessions.
Compensation
