Job Description
PRT Mathematics Teacher Position at New Whiz Kids High School, Anantnag
Teaching mathematics to students in Class 6 to 10 at New Whiz Kids High School, where hands-on classroom instruction and engaging lesson plans are key. Develop and implement age-appropriate syllabi, ensuring alignment with Jammu and Kashmir Board curriculum standards. Conduct daily classes, explain complex concepts with clear examples and visual aids, and maintain student engagement through interactive methods.
Prepare and grade assignments, homework, and exams to assess understanding and provide constructive feedback. Use digital tools and traditional methods to create engaging worksheets, puzzles, and real-world problem-solving activities. Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to address challenges.
Plan weekly lesson plans, including teaching materials, timings, and assessment strategies. Attend departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements. Ensure all teaching materials are updated and available for students. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level. Preference may be given to candidates with TET/CTET certification, though not mandatory.
Salary: Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on performance and institutional requirements. Full-time, permanent position in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.
