PRT Social Science Teacher Position at New Whiz Kids High School in Anantnag
New Whiz Kids High School in Anantnag is looking for a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching Social Science subjects to students in the school’s primary and upper primary sections. This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000.
Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects including history, geography, civics, and economics to students in grades 6 to 8. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum while adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and encourage participation in class discussions and group activities.
Prepare and maintain subject-wise lesson plans, assessment tools, and student records. Collaborate with the school management and other teachers to ensure smooth academic operations. Represent the school at parent-teacher meetings and community events related to Social Science education.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possess a valid TET or CTET certificate is preferred. Strong subject knowledge in Social Science with a focus on contemporary issues and regional relevance.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Experience in teaching Social Science to students in grades 6 to 8 is a plus. Familiarity with curriculum-based assessments and classroom management techniques is beneficial.
