TGT Chemistry Teacher Position at The Elixir School in Anantnag
The Elixir School in Anantnag is seeking a dedicated TGT Chemistry Teacher to join its team in the East Mattan campus. This role involves teaching Chemistry to students in the secondary section, fostering a strong foundation in scientific principles while encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills. The position requires a passion for chemistry education and the ability to engage students through interactive and practical lessons.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging chemistry lessons, covering topics from basic concepts to advanced theories. Classroom teaching will include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experiments to make learning effective and enjoyable. Assessing students’ understanding through quizzes, projects, and continuous evaluation will be a key part of your responsibilities.
A strong grasp of chemical reactions, periodic trends, and laboratory techniques will be essential. Collaborating with fellow teachers to align curriculum standards and support departmental goals will also be part of your role. While direct parent communication may not be required, maintaining open channels for feedback and addressing student concerns will be beneficial.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Chemistry along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant teaching experience in chemistry will be highly valued. The salary for this position is Rs.17,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
