TGT Physics Teacher Position at The Elixir School in Anantnag
The Elixir School in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, seeks a dedicated TGT Physics Teacher to join its team in the East Mattan campus. This role focuses on delivering high-quality physics education, engaging students with hands-on experiments, and fostering a strong scientific mindset. The role requires a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. You will be responsible for designing and implementing physics lessons that align with school curriculum standards. This includes planning experiments, demonstrations, and practical activities to reinforce theoretical concepts. Your ability to simplify complex ideas while maintaining academic rigor will be crucial in helping students grasp fundamental physics principles effectively.
Daily responsibilities will involve conducting physics classes, assessing student understanding through quizzes and assignments, and providing constructive feedback. You will also collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate physics with other subjects. Ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment while maintaining high standards of academic excellence is essential.
The teaching schedule will include both theory and practical sessions, requiring you to prepare lesson plans that balance structured learning with student engagement. Your role extends beyond the classroom, as you will also be involved in organizing science fairs, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to physics. Mentoring students who excel in the subject or need additional support will be part of your responsibilities.
The salary for this full-time position is Rs.17,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
