PGT Computer Science Teacher Job in Baramula, Jammu And Kashmir | School Recruitment
Job Title
P.G.T. Computer Science Teacher for Apex Public School, Sopore, Baramula. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to senior secondary classes and preparing students for board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus, incorporating programming, data structures and networking concepts. Conduct practical lab sessions, supervise coding projects and ensure safe use of computer facilities. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes and terminal exams, providing timely feedback. Organise inter‑school coding competitions and workshops to promote computational thinking. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and laboratory inventories as per school policies. Collaborate with department heads to integrate interdisciplinary projects that link Computer Science with mathematics and science streams.
Qualifications
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline. TET/CTET certification is preferred. Minimum one year of teaching experience in a recognized school setting.
Experience
At least 1 year of experience teaching Computer Science at the PGT level, preferably in a co‑educational environment similar to Apex Public School.
Salary
Rs.38,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, payable as per school norms.
Location
