About Senior Delhi International School | Budgam

When Riya stepped into the gates of Senior Delhi International School in Wadwan, Soibugh, she was a shy five‑year‑old clutching a bright pink backpack. The first weeks were a gentle immersion: bright classrooms filled with colourful charts, a playground that overlooked the rolling hills of Budgam, and teachers who greeted each child by name. The school’s motto, “Creating Global Heads with Hearts,” was not just a slogan on the wall; it was the rhythm of the day, as morning assemblies blended a quick recap of the Quran with a lively discussion about a new robotics kit. By the end of her Pre‑Nursery year, Riya could recite a short surah confidently and was already tinkering with simple circuits, a blend that felt natural in the calm, scenic surroundings of the campus.

As she moved into primary and middle school, the academic environment grew richer while still feeling familiar. Classrooms were equipped with interactive whiteboards, and lessons in mathematics and science often spilled over into hands‑on projects involving artificial intelligence and coding. Teachers, many of whom had attended the professional development workshops hosted by the school, were quick to adapt their methods, encouraging Riya to explain her ideas in front of the class during public speaking sessions. The support extended beyond the classroom; a dedicated transport service linked neighborhoods like Bemina, Shalteng, Palpora and Parimpora, ensuring that students from across the district could reach the school safely and on time. This connectivity helped the school become a hub for families seeking a modern education that respected local traditions.

By the time Riya entered the tenth grade, the influence of Senior Delhi International School was evident in both her confidence and her outlook. She could discuss the ethical implications of AI with the same ease as she recited verses from the Quran. The school’s emphasis on progressive curricula meant she had participated in inter‑school robotics competitions and had delivered speeches at community events organized by the school. The teachers, now mentors she could rely on for college guidance, continued to push her toward excellence while reminding her of the values that grounded her upbringing. In a region where quality education options are limited, the school’s blend of modern technology, solid academic standards, and cultural grounding has made it a cornerstone of Budgam’s educational landscape.

Looking ahead, the journey that began with a nervous child in a new uniform now feels like a roadmap for many families in Budgam. Senior Delhi International School has grown into more than a place of learning; it is a place where
