Handle vendor payments, expense vouchers, and procurement documentation.
Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper depreciation accounting.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external financial audits.
Monitor cash flow and recommend budget adjustments as needed.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in Jammu, Jammu And Kashmir.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce or related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in school or educational institution accounting.
Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
Knowledge of State Board of Jammu And Kashmir financial norms is preferred.
MBA in Finance or M.Com will be considered an added advantage.
