This role demands expertise in designing and implementing innovative teaching methods tailored to high school students, ensuring alignment with the latest syllabi and pedagogical trends. The position requires a strong command over zoological concepts, including animal diversity, evolution, ecology, and human-animal interactions, with a focus on practical applications relevant to Jammu’s regional biodiversity.
As a PGT Zoology Teacher, you will oversee lab-based experiments, field studies, and dissection practices to enhance students’ understanding of anatomical and physiological principles. Collaborate with the science faculty to integrate real-world case studies, such as wildlife conservation efforts in the Himalayan region, to make lessons engaging and contextually relevant. Develop unit assessments that evaluate both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experimentation skills, ensuring rigorous yet student-centered evaluation.
Qualifications for this PGT Zoology Teacher position include a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a graduate degree in Zoology or a related science discipline. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly preferred for formal school recruitment.
