PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Universal Delhi Public School, Ranbir Singh Pora
The role of a Primary Teacher (PRT) in Art and Craft at Universal Delhi Public School, Rs Pura, involves shaping young minds through creative expression. This is a full-time position in Ranbir Singh Pora, Jammu, where hands-on teaching and engaging students in hands-on art activities form the core of the job.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing art and craft lessons tailored to primary school students. You’ll guide them through various techniques—painting, pottery, textiles, and traditional crafts—while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and fine motor skills. Observing and assessing student progress in these areas will also be part of your daily tasks.
Art and Craft at Universal Delhi Public School emphasizes experiential learning. You’ll create age-appropriate projects that align with the curriculum while encouraging individuality and cultural appreciation. Classroom management, maintaining a safe and inspiring workspace, and collaborating with other teachers to integrate art into broader educational goals are essential.
For this role, a graduate degree is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in primary education. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset for career growth.
This position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The school values creativity, patience, and a passion for nurturing young artists. If you thrive in an environment where innovation meets education, this could be the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
