Job Description
TGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Kargil, Jammu And Kashmir | School Recruitment
Oxford Heritage School in Kargil invites applications for a TGT Physical Education Teacher position to inspire young minds through active learning. This role focuses on designing engaging physical activities that align with the school’s evolving curriculum while ensuring students develop essential motor skills and sportsmanship. Your expertise will shape how students experience PE across various grades, fostering both physical fitness and discipline.
The Physical Education Teacher at Oxford Heritage School will be responsible for crafting structured lesson plans that blend traditional games, outdoor adventures, and modern fitness techniques. Your ability to adapt activities for different skill levels—especially in high-altitude conditions—will be crucial for students in Kargil. Curriculum alignment means ensuring every activity ties back to broader goals like health education, teamwork, and resilience, which are vital for students in this region’s unique environment.
Assessment design will play a key role in evaluating student progress. You’ll develop formative and summative assessments that measure participation, technique, and overall growth in physical abilities. Whether through written evaluations, practical demonstrations, or peer feedback, your methods will help track how well students are meeting the school’s PE benchmarks. Oxford Heritage School values data-driven insights to refine programs over time, so your assessment approach should be both fair and practical.
Student progress tracking is essential for personalizing instruction. You’ll monitor individual and group performance, adjusting activities as needed to support weaker learners while challenging stronger ones. This might include tracking participation rates, skill improvement milestones, or even organizing small-group workshops to address specific weaknesses. Your observations will inform future lesson planning, ensuring every session remains dynamic and effective.
In Kargil, where outdoor activities often involve rugged terrain, your lesson plans must account for weather, altitude, and safety. Oxford Heritage School encourages creativity in how you introduce sports like trekking, archery, or winter games, ensuring they remain accessible and enjoyable. Your experience in planning field trips or outdoor events will be particularly valuable, as these experiences often leave a lasting impact on students’ attitudes toward physical activity.
This TGT Physical Education Teacher position offers a salary of Rs.22,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a school that prioritizes holistic development. Your qualifications, including a postgraduate degree in Physical Education and at least two years of teaching experience, will be well-suited for shaping the PE program at Oxford Heritage School. If you’re passionate about fostering a love for movement and sport in young learners, this role could be a rewarding step forward.
