TGT Science Teacher Job in Kargil, Jammu And Kashmir | School Recruitment
What is this role?
The role is a full‑time Teacher Grade Teacher (TGT) dedicated to delivering Science education at Oxford Heritage School. You will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the Kargil section, ensuring they grasp core concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
What will I actually do?
You will design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the Jammu And Kashmir curriculum, using practical experiments and interactive activities tailored to the local context. Assessment of student progress, preparation of reports, and participation in school science fairs and community outreach events will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects is expected.
What do I need to qualify?
A postgraduate degree is required, along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed for teaching positions. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a strong grasp of Science concepts and a passion for fostering curiosity among students.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Experience in conducting laboratory work and managing classroom experiments will be viewed favorably. Experience with the local educational environment in Kargil will be an advantage.
What does it pay?
The salary range for this position is Rs.22,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, competitive for a TGT Science Teacher Job in Kargil.
