Prepare and deliver interactive classroom sessions, incorporating modern teaching aids like maps, satellite imagery, and case studies. Collaborate with the geography department to design interdisciplinary projects, fostering critical thinking and environmental awareness among students. Stay updated on educational trends and curriculum changes to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Qualifications
Hold a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Possess a strong foundation in geography, including regional studies of India and Jammu And Kashmir. Experience in teaching geography at the senior secondary level is highly valued.
Experience
Minimum four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a reputed school. Familiarity with CBSE or Jammu And Kashmir Board syllabi is a plus. Demonstrate expertise in creating innovative teaching resources tailored to diverse student learning needs.
