Role
Delhi Public School | Kathua is looking for a PRT Mathematics Teacher to join its faculty in Kathua, Jammu And Kashmir. The role involves full‑time teaching of mathematics to students across various grades, ensuring curriculum goals are met and student progress is monitored.
Responsibilities
Design engaging lesson plans that align with the state syllabus and school objectives.
Deliver classroom instruction using diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes and exams, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school initiatives.
Maintain accurate attendance records and report student progress to the department head regularly.
Requirements
Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not required.
Strong command of mathematical concepts and ability to convey them clearly.
Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and upholding the school’s values.
Compensation
Monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
