Teaching duties will include planning and executing curriculum-based activities, from team sports to individual drills, ensuring age-appropriate engagement. The teacher must also assess progress through practical evaluations, such as track meets, relay races, and skill tests, while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
Delhi Public School | Kathua values collaboration with other teachers and department heads to integrate PE into broader academic goals. Coordination with sports coordinators may involve organizing inter-house competitions, organizing school events, and promoting discipline through sportsmanship. Parent-teacher interactions will be minimal but may include sharing student performance updates during sports-related parent meetings.
A strong background in Physical Education with at least four years of teaching experience is essential. The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, along with standard school benefits.
