Curriculum Development & Planning
Developing lesson plans that integrate national curriculum frameworks and align with school-specific learning outcomes is essential. The teacher will prepare syllabus-based units, assessments, and teaching aids to support both theory and hands-on learning. Collaboration with subject coordinators will help refine teaching strategies for better student engagement.
Student Support & Mentorship
Act as a guide for students seeking academic clarity, particularly in challenging science concepts. Provide additional support through one-on-one sessions, group discussions, or mentorship programs. Encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking through extracurricular activities like science clubs or competitions.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks
Assist in organizing school-wide science events, workshops, or guest lectures to enrich student learning. Work with the principal and department heads to address administrative needs, such as syllabus updates, exam preparations, or resource allocation. Ensure compliance with school policies while maintaining a supportive teaching environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Science with at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in a high school or college setting. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. Experience in shaping young minds with a focus on scientific excellence is highly valued. The salary for this role is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month.
